Knowlton Church VI

Knowlton Church VI < PreviousNext >
The Knowlton Church series continues with this photo of the old church. The clouds came over later in the shoot obscuring the stars, but it gave this very eerie effect as the moon was slowly engulfed.

I like this, the clouds obscuring the moon are ace, very creepy.
AF Photography
This is by far my favourite so far, really sets the seen of creeping around a churchyard in the middle of the night - fantastic.
Ed
Shooting the church as a silhouette along with the motion blur in the sky creates a perfectly eery atmosphere. The moon is in the right spot. Nicely done.
EOS Chaos
I like this a lot, the clouds do add a certain atmosphere to the scene. Very nice result. - [Chuks]

those clouds must have been moving at a fast clip to get that kind of effect over 30s. i love the composition and the deep colours.

Fantastic! The composition, the silhouette and motion blur; this is definitely my favourite of the Church so far.
John
A fantastic shot, i hope one day I can capture something as stunning as this. Owen has given me some instruction on the method.
